I just cannot stay away from brights apparently. Two weeks ago I made up a purple and white Jack in the Box block. This week I prepared HSTs in pink and in yellow for two more blocks, but was bored with the one color blocks. So I am changing direction to some pattern with lots of brights, as below. Just playing with ideas, searching on Pinterest. I'm thinking about pinwheels.
Meanwhile, I finally have my latest boy quilt flimsy done. With my gdau to help I can finish two Project Linus quilts for the May 11 half yearly charity collection at our local quilt group.
I like your block and the quilt is so cute!
ReplyDeleteBrights are high on my list, too ...
ReplyDeleteI love bright fabric colors, too. More the better.
ReplyDeleteLoving your boy friendly Linus quilt. I'm sure it will bring warmth and comfort to a little one somewhere.
Paula, I like bright clear colors too. LeeAnna
ReplyDelete2 pretty projects... I love playing with HST layouts!
ReplyDeleteHi Paula - not sure if you'll see my comment on Alyce's blog - Blossom Heart Quilts.
ReplyDeleteI said: Hi Paula – It’s great that you’ve tried the link up. The link takes me to your blog, but not the right page. You need to be on the right blog post before you copy the link across. Your link should be:
http://paulabquilts.blogspot.co.nz/2015/04/rsc15-week-16-new-direction.html
try again, pasting this web address into the link up. Then if it works, you could delete the earlier one.
Me again Paula - the link works!! well done, you've mastered linking up. Now you can link up to other linky parties too. A very popular one is www.crazymomquilts.blogspot.com She has one every Friday and a lot of people link up there. I find that it also brings a lot of visitors to my blog. Have fun.
